Magic Man Experience

Overview

Transform a key symbol of Jackson Wang’s MAGIC MAN album lore into an immersive touring experience 




As part of an multi-project series of music-meet-technology activations with client Microsoft, we created an immersive experiential activation for Jackson Wang that toured multiple cities to give fans a chance to enter the psyche of their favorite pop idol.

The Magic Man Experience invited fans to enter and interact with a key symbol from Jackson’s album lore — a mysterious elevator that descends deeper and deeper into Jackson’s inner world, where your movements and responses to various prompts would customize the fan experience.

Working with Volvox Labls, we leveraged multiple Microsoft technologies to bring this concept to life: Computer Vision Spatial Analysis to detect movement in real time, Microsoft Azure Kinect to manipulate auras, and OpenAI’s GPT tech to inspire new magic-isms, the experience transports fans into Jackson’s captivating imagination.
